The Goal:
The goal of the project was to digitize and streamline the radiology interpretation process, making it faster, more organized, and easily accessible to both clinics and radiology specialists. A key objective was to build a scalable system with clearly defined user roles, secure data handling, and an integrated communication system.
The Challenge:
The biggest challenge was designing a complex medical workflow in a way that feels simple and intuitive for everyday users. The platform needed to support multiple user roles (clinics, individual vets, radiologists, and admins), real-time status updates, detailed pet history management, and a built-in inbox for notifications and mentions, all while maintaining high performance and data security standards.
The Results:
The final web app delivers a robust, user-friendly solution that significantly improves how radiology cases are submitted, tracked, and interpreted. With features like detailed pet histories, dynamic case statuses, role-based access, and an integrated notification inbox, SecondVet enables smoother collaboration between clinics and specialists. The platform is currently positioned as a reliable digital tool that saves time, improves communication, and enhances the quality of veterinary radiology services.
